Sugar cone express for first graders
Every year, the Traditionsbahn Radebeul and the SDG Lößnitzgrundbahn invite children to a sugar cone ride to Moritzburg. All schoolchildren receive a free ride as well as a small introductory gift and the opportunity to take a souvenir photo on a steam locomotive in Moritzburg. During your stay in Moritzburg, we recommend a visit to the castle or the game reserve.
The ABC pupils are greeted on the platform in Radebeul Ost before departure. The Lößnitzgrundbahn mascot, our Lößnitz dachshund, also congratulates them on starting school. Then the railwayman's sugar cone tree can be plundered. Then it's time to get on board " please! " An old steam locomotive and its historic carriages puff their way towards Moritzburg. During your stay in Moritzburg, we recommend a walk through the town to the castle.
