Shopping in Radebeul

Two shopping streets have developed in Radebeul - East and Radebeul - West. The Anger Altkötzschenbroda, in addition to Bahnhofstraße and Moritzburger Straße in western Radebeul, as well as Haupstraße in the east of the city offer a colourful mix of shops. Small shops, service facilities and catering establishments invite you to stroll and linger.
At the beginning of 2021, the city council of the large district town decided to provide a centre budget for both shopping streets (Radebeul-Kötzschenbroda and Radebeul-Ost) totalling €50,000, initially for three years. This will be used to pay the fees for the two district managers and the material costs for the local campaigns. Two women have been active in both shopping areas since summer 2021.

"The customers are our target group. We want to increase the length of stay on our shopping streets," is the motto of the two district managers. This year, for example, parts of Goeth's "Easter walk" could be discovered in the windows of shops on the main street before Easter. On the Anger, booksellers invited visitors to a reading event.
