Saxony worldwide -"A culinary journey to Sweden"
In the new culinary series "Saxony Worldwide", we are travelling to countries near and far in the cosy atmosphere of "Gräfes Wein & Fein".
The first trip will take us north to Sweden. Nicolle spent five years in Gothenburg. She followed her husband, a native of Iran, who had been living in Sweden for 20 years. During the Corona period, they both decided to return to Germany, back to Nicolle's roots and identity. She talks about how she and her small family fared in Sweden and what she experienced. Not only the shorter growing season, but also the healthcare system and integration were a challenge. Nevertheless, she still loves the country.
Selected drinks and Scandinavian culinary delicacies accompany the evening. The latter is prepared together. Vegetarians will not miss out either.
