In this programme, we explain the current starry sky live. Observing satellites in the night sky is no longer a rarity. They have also become an integral part of our everyday lives:
They accompany us throughout the day. When we wake up, go to school, work or travelling, and also when we spend time with our family in the evening. Without them, we wouldn't have navigation in our cars or mobile phones, accurate weather forecasts or many everyday objects. Who are they? Nothing other than satellites!
We used to travel across continents and oceans to explore every corner of our planet. Not so long ago, we conquered the Earth's atmosphere. And now ... now we are becoming wanderers in a new vast world called the universe.
Satellite technologies help us every day. And they are the symbol of international co-operation.
