Music Festival Radebeul 2024 - Concert II America

The music festival centred around the Radebeul violinist Albrecht Menzel invites you to five concerts at historic and unusual venues this summer from 25 August to 8 September 2024 .

At the end of August ,violinist and artistic director Albrecht Menzel willonce again bring together young international artists such as piano virtuoso Joseph Moog, violinist Sascha Maisky and international violin expert Rainer Cocron from the auction house Ingles & Hayday withhis wonderful Stradivarius violin and winner of numerous international competitions, such as the famous Premio Paganini in Italy ,to make music together in his home town .With its third edition, the young festival cordially invites you to a summery, festive atmosphere with a varied programme of music, readings and lectures.

Rarely heard music in the Friedenskirche

Following the great success of last year's concert of rarely heard works in the Friedenskirche and the audience's desire for "more of the same", the "AMERIKA" concert on Thursday, 29 August 2024 at 18:oo will enchant the audience with romantic works by Philip Glass, the piano quintet by Florence Price and the "American" string quartet by Antonin Dvořák.
