Great hike with moderated wine tasting
Four-hour tour with 6 wines from Wackerbarth Castle to the "Goldener Wagen"
We hike up the stone "ladder to heaven" to the "Jacobstein" viewpoint. After a wine-fuelled break, we head downhill to the former "Bussard" sparkling wine cellar. Then back up into the mountains to the water tower and the oldest vineyard, the "Paradies", and then through the Lößnitzgrund past the Lößnitzbach stream and narrow-gauge railway to the electoral winery "Hoflößnitz". After a tasting in the organic vineyard, we visit a historic wine press and are already at "Am Goldenen Wagen".
