Exhibition: "Desiderium" by André Uhlig
The Radebeul painter and graphic artist André Uhlig takes us to his places of longing with his paintings and graphics. In his immediate surroundings and in neighbouring Bohemia, the landscape with its nature is his "desiderium", through which he receives inspiration for his artistic work and which shapes his views. Similar to Caspar David Friedrich, he draws in nature and tries to capture his emotions and sensations on location. In his Radebeul studio, he translates them artistically, mostly in colour, onto printing plate and paper and shows some of his works in this exhibition.
