Pictures of people with and without dementia. Thomas Werchota from Burgenland is a carer by conviction and a passionate photographer with his heart in the right place. Thanks to his friendly, open manner
he quickly makes contact with people. This is also reflected in his pictures. "Life is still worth living, even with an illness. And the right environment helps a lot!" His pictures encourage us to believe that people with dementia are in good hands in the centre of our society, whether playing boules in the city, dancing or discussing the concerns of those affected at a specialist conference.
