Dresden cabaret "The Rasp"

Anette Paul and Roland Dix have been performing together in the cabaret "Die Raspel" for 23 years now. They came together in Höckendorf near Dresden in 2001, at that time still together with Frank Peters, Janette Naumann and the pianist Torsten Vogtmann, alias entertainer Monsieur T.
Their first venue was the "Theater unterm Dach" in the "Rudi" theatre in Dresden Mickten in 2001. Then in 2002 there was the cabaret theatre "Zur Raspel" on Wasaplatz in Dresden Strehlen, which unfortunately closed its doors again in 2008. After a one-year break in 2009, Anette Paul and Roland Dix, also known as "Otto" because of his "famous" surname, played alone, supported by Joachim Paul, their technician. From 2010, the cabaret played for a few years in the Bürgergarten Radebeul and from 2020 in Dittrichs Gold. Radebeul. They had to move again and again due to closures or building work.

Since March 2023, there has been a new venue in the "Frau Butter" restaurant (formerly Stumpfs Hof) in Altkötzschenbroda, Radebeul. Countless texts and songs were penned by "Otto".
The first joint programme was called "Kalt erwischt" (2010), followed by new versions of "All inCLOUsive" (2012), "Der Letzte Husten" (2014) "Der Lack ist ab" (2015) and, since 2016, the programme "Schlimmer geht's immer". They continued with "Mein Gott, Alter! (2018), "Mann & Frau inTEAM" (2019) and "Vorwärts nimmer, rückwärts immer" (2020) In October this year, the new programme "Bitte anschnallen" premiered, a programme about Dresden Airport that "Otto" worked on for more than 40 years. A "Best of Raspel" has also been part of the programme for years."
With both cabaret artists, you can always tell that they enjoy performing. It's not just a hobby, because the cabaret "Die Raspel" is somehow part of their lives.
Countless performances in Saxony and other federal states have made them famous. Funny scenes from everyday life and thought-provoking songs are their forte. In the "Best of Raspel", both cabaret artists show the most beautiful pieces and certainly also sing the most beautiful songs from various programmes of recent years.
