We would like to welcome you on the terrace of the observatory with a marvellous view over the Elbe valley. Get in the mood with a top-class live musical act and enjoy a glass of wine from Wackerbarth. As soon as the night falls over Radebeul, we will start with a selected film, the theme of which is a wonderful connection to the summery location.

NOUK

NOUK is an indietronic & chamber pop band based in Dresden and Leipzig. The band breaks classical song structures without losing the charm and lightness of honest pop music. Sometimes string lines interweave with guitar and vocals to create a delicate poetry setting, then drums, synth basses and circulating piano patterns build up into multi-layered arrangements. In a very natural way, different influences merge into a multi-faceted overall sound.

Over the years, their time together in the kitchen and their passion for cooking has grown into much more than just a love of food. But Eugénie does not want to give up her freedom and has no intention of marrying Dodin. So he decides to do something he has never done before: cook for her. Amidst the passionate hustle and bustle of a kitchen, Trần Anh Hùng (THE FRAGRANCE OF GREEN PAPAYA) stages an extraordinary and literally appetising love story about the art of seduction and the sensuality of food. In addition to the enchanting Juliette Binoche and the French acting star Benoît Magimel, the culinary works of art - created by none other than Michelin-starred chef Pierre Gagnaire - are particularly impressive.

If the observatory car park is already full, please park outside the traffic-calmed area on the hill of Mohrenstraße. Parking in the traffic-calmed area ("Spielstraße") is not permitted and blocks escape routes!
