5th WeinBergKulTour
At the foot of the vineyards, just outside Dresden, lies the wonderful cultural town of Radebeul. Here, part of Germany's smallest wine-growing region stretches across the entire town. A dense network of wine taverns and wineries stretches along the foot of the vineyards and forms the breeding ground for the cultural venues of the WeinBergKulTour.
Many people, especially younger generations, are unaware of these special places and the unique flora. The WeinBergKulTour links the sites at the foot of the vineyards with music, theatre, literature and dance. Each group of artists performs three 30-minute sets at different locations throughout the day, while the audience is invited to explore the region on foot. The programme is aimed at all generations. Between the performances, there is space to linger and chat, enjoying the individual stations in a picnic atmosphere. One aim is to offer young artists from the region a platform, but also to promote supra-regional groups and give the audience an insight into different genres. Another aim is to get as many generations as possible interested in Radebeul's unique cultural landscape. In cooperation with the town's winegrowers, Radebeul's Kultur e.V. organises the event four times a year. Admission is free, additional donations for the artists are requested on site.
