Winery Steffen Schabehorn

Wine production has been a family tradition of the Schabehorns for over 400 years. From an initial sideline, today's Steffen Schabehorn winery was established in 2000 directly on the Saxon Wine Route. Every year, around 20,000 bottles are bottled and matured in the estate's own cellar. In the vineyards "Meißner Kapitelberg", "Proschwitzer Katzensprung", "Weinberg Kötitz" and "Weinberg am Weingut", the varieties Müller-Thurgau, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Traminer, Bacchus and Kerner as well as the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Regent and Dornfelder are cultivated.
