Even the old monks bent their backs for the wines of the Kloster Pforta estate. In the 12th century, they began to turn landscapes into vineyards in the Saale-Unstrut region. Even though the winery is no longer run by monks, their old principle of "creatio continua", continuous creation and creation, still applies today. The wines reflect the richness of the vineyards. A whole landscape of flavours, nuances and aromas can be discovered.
