Star rider parade

Hundreds of star riders from all over Germany ride from the Wahnsdorf star riding camp through the Lößnitzgrund and present themselves and their horses in an impressive parade. The parade is led by Western clubs and line dancers, accompanied by live music and awaited by the numerous spectators along the roadsides.

The riders had been travelling for days to reach the star riders' camp in Radebeul. Horse and man in harmony in the midst of nature are on the road as messengers of the Karl May Festival. They embody a touch of freedom and a thirst for adventure, just like Karl May.

At the parade, Winnetou and Old Shatterhand from the Landesbühnen Sachsen will honour the riders who have travelled the furthest star ride to Radebeul.
