Around his neck he wore the precious peace pipe, the medicine pouch and a triple chain of grizzly bear claws, which he had killed himself at the risk of his life." This is how Karl May describes his Apache chief - Winnetou. His name means "Burning Water" and his experiences have enchanted millions of readers worldwide.
