There's another big anniversary to celebrate at the opening on Friday evening - the 20th Freiberg Country Night! Line dance shows and international country bands will get the dance floor shaking. Stars of the indigenous music scene offer an explosive mix of traditional Navajo sounds and elements of folk, rock, pop and punk.

On Saturday and Sunday , you will meet other representatives of various Native American tribes from North America at the Karl May Museum and the Lößnitzgrund, who will introduce us to their culture and way of life.

You can experience that Wild West feeling in authentic western camps, at elaborate theatre shows and when rough but lovable scoundrels mingle with the audience or rob banks. International country bands provide the authentic soundtrack at all venues.

There is exciting action and creative playgrounds for the little cowboys and Indians, and not just on Children's Day on Sunday. Little adventurers can let off steam all weekend long with gold panning, rope climbing, archery and pony rides.

Finally, hundreds of riders and their magnificent horses will once again parade along Meißner Straße for the big star riders' parade on Sunday morning.
