Karl May's heroes were true masters of adaptation and improvisation. Nothing could take them by surprise; they boldly confronted all obstacles and managed to gain an advantage from every unforeseen situation. Like Karl May's heroes, the Karl May Festival knows how to adapt to special circumstances and overcome adversity. And last year, Karl May sought new paths - off the beaten track - to bring his vision of adventure, international understanding, peace and friendship to the whole of Radebeul.
