Information on support for Radebeul entrepreneurs and companies

Defying corona together

As the city of Radebeul, we are aware of the economic importance of both large and medium-sized companies as well as the numerous solo self-employed, freelancers, artists and micro-entrepreneurs. Overcoming the economic consequences of the coronavirus crisis poses unprecedented challenges for society as a whole. A coordinated approach to support measures is therefore particularly important for the public sector. As a city, we are contributing with our possibilities.

We can currently provide extensive support options for companies:

• Federal government: The federal parliament passed a support programme on 25.03.2020. In Saxony, the programme will be implemented by the Sächsische Aufbaubank.

  = Immediate financial aid as a taxable grant of up to EUR 9,000 for up to 5 employees and up to EUR 15,000 for up to 10 employees
• Free State of Saxony: "Sachsen hilft sofort" programme - also provided by the Sächsische Aufbaubank

  = Interest-free loans between EUR 5,000 and EUR 50,000
• City of Radebeul: Tax support package
  In consultation with the Council of Elders (subject to final confirmation by the City Council)
  = Generous adjustment of advance payments and offer of deferral options with interest of 0.00 %

In addition, there are numerous programmes from the KfW development bank of the federal government (Annex KfW or at www.kfw.de ) and the guarantee banks as part of the federal government's rescue package.

Further support programmes from social security institutions, the Federal Employment Agency (in particular the regulations on short-time working) and other institutions round off the range of assistance on offer.

It should be noted that the development - analogous to the development of the Corona crisis - is currently also very dynamic in the area of support and that further opportunities may open up in the coming days and weeks.
