Updated venues due to flooding
Elbwiese is cancelled, some events get a new home
Despite the recent flooding, the Radebeul Autumn and Wine Festival can take place as planned from 27 September to 29 September 2024. The water level of the Elbe had not reached the initially feared peak. Nevertheless, some adjustments to the situation are necessary to protect the still-wet dyke.
The funfair can move to its usual location on the Festwiese, but the venues on the Elbwiese cannot be used due to the slow fall in water levels. Alternative venues for theatre, dance and music had to be found. With the creativity and support of partners, this was successfully achieved. All programme items except for the dance battle "SponTanz" will take place, including the interactive sculpture landscape EXPRÉSATE! by Chilean artists Muriel & César and the eagerly awaited Finale Grande "Feuerland".
