Another aid transport en route to Ukrainian twin city

On 31 August 2020, another aid transport from Radebeul travelled to the Ukrainian twin town of Obukhiv. The lorry was loaded with school furniture and play equipment financed through the project "Improving civil protection in municipal partnerships with Ukraine". The German Society for International Cooperation was commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development to implement the project.
As a municipality participating in the project, the large district town of Radebeul receives the relief supplies and organises the transport to the Ukrainian twin town of Obukhiv, which is financed with donations. A private individual also donated an electric wheelchair, which could also be loaded.
