Building construction
The main tasks of the Building Construction department are the planning, preparation and supervision of building construction investment and maintenance measures for municipal buildings (schools, daycare centres, after-school care centres, sports halls, fire brigades, administrative buildings and other municipal buildings), including the implementation of architectural competitions and the application for and settlement of subsidies.
The department is also responsible for the planning, preparation and supervision of technical building equipment for new construction, refurbishment, repair and maintenance work on municipal buildings.
