The "wild east" begins behind Dresden - more precisely in a rehearsal room in Bärnsdorf, right next to the Lößnitz railway. This is where drums, banjo and guitar can be heard, and this is where you'll find the countrymen from Moritzburg, whose Nashville sound puts everyone in a good mood. This or something similar describes what we five amateur musicians with years of stage experience do in our spare time and perform live on stage.

The LANDMANN Crossover Band has existed in this formation since 2018. The band consists of Otmar Schwalbe (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Eckhard Schleicher (vocals, dobro, guitar, mandolin), Frank Mattukat (vocals, bass), Jan Göpfert (drums) and Thomas Schön (vocals, guitar, banjo, violin).

What unites us? A passion for country music! Over the years, each of us has gained experience in different musical genres, which has inspired us to create the band's "crossover concept". Of course we play traditional country songs, but we also cover songs from other genres and rearrange them in a country style - always with the right instruments and a lot of passion.
