Bilzweg Radebeul
"Friedrich Eduard Bilz came to the realisation that a healthy lifestyle prevents illness by overcoming his own illnesses. His main work "Das neue Naturheilverfahren" (The New Natural Healing Method), popularly known as the Bilz-Bund, sold millions of copies. From 1905, Bilz used the proceeds to create a light-air bath in Radebeul with a wave machine that is still in operation today. He also developed and produced "Reform-Nährmittel" and the alcohol-free Bilz-Brause, which is marketed today under the name Bilzbrause.
The Bilzbund für Naturheilkunde (Bilz Association for Naturopathy) maintains his legacy.
With the redesign of the Radebeul hiking trail, it invites visitors to experience light, air and water in the Bilz spirit.
QR codes on the signposts provide information about the life and work of the naturopath and life reformer.
