Ukrainian children and young people go to school in Radebeul

After 31 of the Ukrainian refugees had already been accepted into the regular classes through individual case assessments (language skills), preparatory classes (13, 19 and 27 pupils) have now started at Naundorf primary school, Radebeul-Mitte secondary school and Lößnitzgymnasium grammar school. The Ukrainian curriculum is taught there by Ukrainian teachers. "We hope that this will enable the children and young people to complete the curriculum for the current school year," says Lord Mayor Bert Wendsche.
Most of the Ukrainian children and young people and their parents had already asked about schooling opportunities shortly after arriving in Radebeul.
