Fishing village pond Naundorf

On 22 March 2024, the Naundorf village pond will be fished in a second attempt by Teichwirtschaft Zschorna.
During the first run in November last year, there were technical problems with the necessary draining of the pond and the water level was ultimately not low enough at the time of fishing. Many fish escaped under the stretched nets. This year, the necessary water level can be ensured. Fishing is due to start at around 8.00 am. Once again, the aim is to remove as many fish as possible from the pond and to release the fish in the species and quantities required to establish a stable balance of peaceful and predatory fish.
Please note that the private introduction of fish will disturb this desired balance. This can not only displace our native pond inhabitants, but also accelerate a lack of oxygen and thus the overturning of the pond. The release of fish and other animals is therefore not permitted.
