Lifting in bridge elements for An der Schiffsmühle road overpass

An intersection-free road overpass is being built over the railway lines from Dresden to Leipzig and the ThyssenKrupp AG siding, which will then connect the Radebeul-Naundorf industrial estate with Meißner Straße. The road "Nach der Schiffsmühle" will be connected to the roundabout.
The lifting of the bridge elements began this morning. The bridge superstructures will be lifted into place by Friday, 10 February 2023. Due to the necessary road closure, the schedule is tight.
The bridge consists of five spans with a length of 126.80 metres and a width of 11.85 metres. The prefabricated parts will be lifted into place in sections by a 650 tonne crane.
