Special wine edition 2024 "Mimes, masks, kisses of the Muses"

Wine and theatre, enjoyment and culture - this wonderful combination is what our annual autumn and wine festival with the International Travelling Theatre Festival offers Radebeul residents and their guests!

The Förderverein Internationales Wandertheaterfestival Radebeul e.V. contributes to this by financially supporting a travelling theatre production with the proceeds from the special edition of 350 bottles of wine.

Convince yourself of the quality of the Steillagen-Müller-Thurgau 2023 from old Radebeul vines on the Goldener Wagen from the Frédéric Fourré vineyard. Sample this fine wine with its fruity, full flavour and visit our stand next to the theatre carousel.

This year, the Radebeul painter Karen Graf has been commissioned to design the artist's label. She has taken the motto "Mimes, Masks, Kisses of the Muses" and playfully staged it.

Enjoy this total work of art and let yourself be enchanted by the travelling theatre! Perhaps during the performance "Common Ground" by the international company of the same name on the Elbe meadows, when the actors try to find common ground with the audience. The artists share their vision of community in an acrobatically impressive way, with calm, humour and suspense as well as a constantly changing stage set, touching the audience at its core.

Saxon Wine Taler 2024

This year, the Saxon Wine Thaler will be issued for the 29th time to mark the autumn and wine festival. The motif of these strictly limited collector's items is designed each year by an artist from the region especially for this occasion.

Anita Rempe lives and works in the fishing village near Klipphausen. She takes her inspiration from nature. The wine and the dragonfly as symbols of summer in Radebeul are the focus of her still life. The small snowflake at the edge, however, symbolises the defining element of this year - the frost in spring and its serious consequences for our winegrowers.

The Saxon Wine Taler is available in various precious metals. It can be purchased at the Radebeul Autumn and Wine Festival. Also at www.weintaler.info
