Bergmann Feinseife
The fine soap and perfume factory Bergmann & Co. was founded by Bruno Bergmann in Dresden in 1885. A little later, the company moved to Hellerstr. 23 in Radebeul. The company became known for its speciality product "hobbyhorse lily milk soap". It also produced medicinal, household and children's soaps and later other cosmetics. Bergmann was very determined and was able to inspire his employees to realise his ambitious goals. He wanted to position his company among the first in Germany and also expand abroad. At the turn of the century, he was even appointed purveyor to the court....
