Seau Volant
Seau Volant
Dance around the Christmas tree
The Dresden band Seau Volant describes their style as the soundtrack from the vastness of the pan-European steppe. With a mixture of klezmer, polka and Balkan music, the ten musicians get hearts beating and dance floors shaking. The name "Seau Volant" means "the flying bucket" in German. In 2012, at the Fête de la Musique in Dresden, it spread its wings to take flight for the first time.
Since then, the band has played at numerous festivals, city and street festivals, weddings, christenings and many other occasions. From the very beginning, the focus has been on their enthusiasm for Eastern European folklore and the fun of performing for an audience that loves to dance. They have retained this joy to this day and are always happy to invite people to dance with them. Of course, festive songs are also a must at Christmas.
