Safety instructions

Dear visitors to the Christmas market,

"Lichterglanz und Budenzauber" is a family festival organised by the district town of Radebeul. To ensure that the event is a joyful and untroubled experience for all visitors, participants and residents, we also ask you to observe and comply with the following additional rules:

• Participation in the events and entry to the event site is at your own risk. Leaving the paths and areas belonging to the festival site is at your own risk.

• Children under the age of 10 may only enter if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents are liable for their children. The organiser is only liable for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence on the part of the organiser or its vicarious agents, not in cases of force majeure. Liability extends only to the area of the event site.

• In order to maintain order and safety on the event site, the instructions of the city as organiser and the persons employed by it must be complied with immediately.

• Dogs must be kept on a lead on the entire event site and must wear a muzzle. However, crowds and jostling are no fun for four-legged friends. Markets mean danger and stress for dogs. For the well-being and protection of your pets, they should stay at home.

• The carrying and use of firearms, cutting and thrusting weapons, ammunition and projectiles within the meaning of the Weapons Act and pyrotechnic objects within the meaning of the Explosives Act is not permitted. This also applies to alarm weapons. Weapons and similar objects carried/used without authorisation may be confiscated by the respective organiser or persons authorised by the organiser.
• It is prohibited to bring alcoholic beverages as well as bottles, cups, jugs or cans made of fragile, splintering or particularly hard material.

• Any person who wilfully or negligently violates one of the provisions in § 2 (1) to (4) of the police regulations issued shall be deemed to have committed an administrative offence within the meaning of § 17 SächsPolG.
