Road rehabilitation Meißner Strasse between E.-Bilz-Str. and Schildenstrasse and north-east of Wasastrasse

The damaged carriageway of Meißner Straße between Eduard-Bilz-Straße and Schildenstraße, as well as a section of the northern carriageway east of the Wasastraße junction, are also to be repaired using the current roadworks-related closure of Meißner Straße and the tram in the centre of Radebeul-Ost.

The planned construction work includes the removal of the damaged road surface, the replacement of road fixtures, the installation of a new asphalt surface and the necessary jointing and marking work. The measures are to be implemented in three phases between 16 September and 4 October 2024.

The work will require the closure of the respective renovation sections for the duration of the construction work. However, Meißner Straße will remain passable in both directions with restrictions on the carriageway width outside the construction site areas. The northern stop "Wasastraße" for the SEV line 4, travelling in the direction of Weinböhla, will be relocated to the west side of the Wasastraße junction for the duration of the construction work.

The company P+S Pflaster- und Straßenbau GmbH Wülknitz was commissioned with the construction work. The construction costs amount to approx. 95,000 €.
