Yesterday, Friday, a number of Ukrainian refugees who had travelled individually arrived in Radebeul and were received and helped on by the staff at the social welfare centre.
Shortly before seven o'clock this morning, the bus that had set off for the Polish-Ukrainian border with the aid transport on Friday morning arrived in Radebeul. On board were 42 Ukrainian people.
Mayor Bert Wendsche welcomed the refugees to Radebeul. Thanks to the many offers of accommodation, the people will be handed over to their host families on Monday.
Lord Mayor Bert Wendsche: "A big thank you to the many interpreters who supported us this morning and continue to be available to us as translators."
