Removal of used textile containers in Radebeul

Due to the current tense economic situation on the sales market, various operating companies have withdrawn the used textile containers from the used glass containers and other locations at short notice.

As these are operated by private companies or non-profit organisations, the Radebeul municipal administration unfortunately has no influence on this.

Radebeul town council asks the public to use the bins still available at the used glass container locations (see overview below) or the recycling centres or clothes banks.

Please do not dispose of used textiles next to the bottle banks or elsewhere in the city centre. Not only does this look unattractive, but most soiled and wet textiles can no longer be recycled and can only be disposed of as residual waste at high cost.

Incidentally, all secondary deposits at the used glass container locations constitute a violation of § 7 Para. 2 of the municipal police regulations and are punishable as an administrative offence in accordance with § 18 Para. 1 No. 7. The city administration is endeavouring to find a replacement for the used textile containers that have been removed as quickly as possible.
