Opera boogie
A Georg Kreisler evening by Kai Anne Schuhmacher
Who hasn't heard of the famous »Opera Boogie« by the poet, composer and singer Georg Kreisler, who saw himself as an anarchist. On this entertaining evening in the Goldene Weintraube, an opera diva and a music critic clash. The barman tries to mediate, but will he succeed? In addition to the eponymous song and the song »Der Musikkritiker«, in which the protagonist reveals himself to be completely unmusical, there are other absurdly profound and blackly humorous songs that make you think about our times and our world.
