Data protection
The Große Kreisstadt Radebeul (Radebeul) has committed itself to complying with the applicable legal provisions, the protection of personal data and the principles of data security when designing its website.
In the following, we would like to inform you about the circumstances under which we collect information from you, how we handle it and to whom we may make it available.
Data protection information of the large district town of Radebeul
In order to protect your personal data managed by Radebeul against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons (see § 9 SächsDSG and §§ 9, 11 BDSG in conjunction with the Annex to § 9 BDSG), our personnel, technical and organisational security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
In addition, our employees, subcontractors and other auxiliary persons are obliged to maintain confidentiality and data protection.
If you have any further questions on the subject of data protection that have not been answered in our data protection information, our specialised employees will be happy to help you at any time.
Data collection and processing when accessing from the Internet
Every time a user accesses our website, data about this process is temporarily stored and processed in a log file.
The following data is collected and stored until it is automatically deleted
- IP address of the requesting computer (anonymised),
- Date and time of access,
- Name and URL of the retrieved file,
- Notification of whether the retrieval was successful,
- Recognition data of the browser and operating system used,
- Website from which the access was made,
- Name of your internet access provider.
This data is processed for the purpose of enabling the use of the website (establishing a connection), maintaining system security, technical administration of the network infrastructure and optimising the website. The above data is only analysed for statistical purposes and to improve the website and is then deleted.
The IP address can only be analysed in the event of attacks on the network infrastructure. Personal data will not be processed beyond the cases mentioned in the data protection declaration unless you expressly consent to further processing.
Inventory data
Radebeul collects, stores and uses your personal data, which is required for the establishment, content or amendment of the contractual relationship (inventory data), exclusively for the processing of the existing contractual relationship with you or for processing your request. They are only processed for correspondence with you and only for the purpose for which you have provided us with the data.
The following data is generally stored as inventory data:
- Salutation,
- First name, surname or company name (if applicable, additional representation),
- Address (street, house number, postcode, town and country),
- e-mail address,
- telephone and fax number,
Traffic data
Personal data that is required to enable the utilisation of the offers and to bill for them (traffic/usage data) is used to process the contracts concluded. Such usage data includes, in particular, information about the start and end of registration and the scope of the respective contractual services.
If the usage or traffic data is required for billing purposes (billing data), it is stored after the invoice has been sent. If the data is required to fulfil existing legal, statutory or contractual retention periods, the data may be stored.
Making contact/e-mail correspondence
Information or data that you send to us unencrypted by e-mail may be read by third parties during transmission. As a rule, it is also not possible to verify your identity and clarify who is behind an e-mail address. Legally secure communication by e-mail is therefore not guaranteed. Like many email providers, we use filters against unsolicited advertising ("SPAM filter"), which in rare cases also automatically classify normal emails as unsolicited advertising and delete them. E-mails containing harmful programmes ("Virus") are also automatically deleted by us.
If you wish to send us data worthy of protection, we recommend that you encrypt it and possibly also sign it electronically to prevent unauthorised access and falsification during transmission or send the data to us by conventional post.
Use of cookies, web analysis tools and social media plug-ins
1. cookies

3. social media plug-ins
We use browser plug-ins and links from social networks (e.g. Facebook) on our website, which are identified by the corresponding logos or other notices. The social networks are operated exclusively by third-party providers, some of which are based outside Europe. As a result, it may not be possible to ensure an adequate level of data protection in accordance with Section 16 SächsDSG or Sections 4b, 4c BDSG. When using a browser plug-in, an automatic connection to the server of the respective network can be established, but can be restricted by a browser add-on, e.g. with the script blocker "NoScript" (http://noscript.net/). Please refer to the respective data protection notices of the browser plug-ins from the providers:
- YouTube
Online presence in social media
We maintain online presences within social networks and platforms in order to communicate with the customers, interested parties and users active there and to inform them about our services and news. When accessing the respective networks and platforms, the terms and conditions and data processing guidelines of the respective operators apply.
Unless otherwise stated in our privacy policy, we process users' data if they communicate with us within the social networks and platforms, e.g. write posts on our online presences, interact with the pages or send us messages.
Functions and content of the Instagram service, offered by Instagram Inc, 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA, may be integrated into our online offering. This may include, for example, content such as images, videos or texts and buttons with which users can express their liking of the content, subscribe to the authors of the content or subscribe to our posts. If the users are members of the Instagram platform, Instagram can assign the access to the above-mentioned content and functions to the users' profiles there. Transfer of data to third parties
Personal data (above-mentioned inventory data) will only be passed on if it is absolutely necessary to process your request or for contractual reasons.

The data and information stored by us may be used in accordance with the applicable laws and disclosed to third parties if this is necessary by order of a court of law, at the request of an investigating authority or for evidence purposes. Voluntary disclosure does not take place on principle.
Within the framework of an order data processing agreement in accordance with § 7 SächsDSG or § 11 BDSG, your personal data may only be passed on for a specific purpose under the provisions described here.
Right of objection, information, deletion and blocking of data
Radebeul will correct or delete your personal data at any time if you object to the use of your data or if there is a contractual, legal or sovereign obligation to do so. If deletion is prevented by legal, statutory or contractual retention periods that require a disproportionate effort or impair your legitimate interests, the data will be blocked instead of deleted.

Links to websites of other providers/third parties
Our websites may contain links to websites of other providers. We would like to point out that this privacy policy applies exclusively to the websites of Radebeul. We have no influence on and do not check that other providers/third parties comply with the applicable data protection regulations.
Our website may also include content from third parties, in particular map material from Google Maps and an online ticket system via Etix. If you enter data, it is common for the IP address to be forwarded to the third party for use of the services (e.g. display in the browser) in order to use the third party's services. In principle, we have no influence on how the third party handles the data.
Changes to the data protection information
Due to the further development of our website, regulatory requirements or the implementation of new technologies, it may become necessary to amend the privacy policy. Radebeul reserves the right to change the privacy policy at any time with effect for the future. We recommend that you re-read the current privacy policy from time to time.
