In a letter to Lord Mayor Bert Wendsche, Alexander Levchenko writes:
"From history we know that every people and every community is fundamentally inherent to mutual charity and help. The city of Radebeul and Mayor Bert Wendsche are proof of this. They have welcomed Ukrainian women and children who were forced to leave Ukraine because of the war. Thanks to the administration of the city of Radebeul, the residents of Obukhiv not only received protective accommodation and the organisation of meaningful leisure activities for children, but also charitable help in the form of food, medical care and clothing..."
