Meißner Straße Ecke Hauptstraße Baufeld
From 15 January 2024, depending on the weather, the extension of the Meißner Straße construction site is planned. At the Meißner Straße/ Hauptstraße junction, sewer construction is to begin, including the construction of 3 larger manhole structures, which will make it possible to optimise the overall construction time of the project as planned.
The work and the necessary barriers will be successively extended from the southern Hauptstraße via Meißner Straße to the northern Hauptstraße. During the construction work, attempts will be made to maintain the traffic flow from the southern main road onto Meißner Straße in a westerly direction as far as possible. To this end, various temporary solutions will be set up to guide traffic past the construction site to the west. However, temporary closures and restrictions may occur from time to time due to the sewer construction work and the construction of the temporary structures.
Access from the western part of Meißner Straße to the northern part of Hauptstraße will be possible for as long as possible. Meißner Straße will not be continuously passable in the new construction area. Residents can access the section between Freiligrathstraße and Hauptstraße via Freiligrathstraße.
