Construction work on Meißner Straße is progressing well

The road drains have been installed between Schillerstraße and Zinzendorfstraße. The unbound base layers are currently being laid in the carriageway area and on the northern footpath. In August-Bebel-Straße, the pipe laying has been completed and the pipe trenches have been backfilled. The pipe trenches in the section between Freiligrathstraße and Hauptstraße have also been backfilled.
Pedestrian guidance along Meißner Straße is now being provided continuously via the temporary pavement on the southern side of the road.
Construction work will be suspended between Christmas and New Year and will continue on 2 January 2024 if the weather permits.
