Augustusweg construction project

From 22 July 2024, construction work will begin on the fundamental expansion of the pavements on both sides of Augustusweg between August-Bebel-Straße and Fichtestraße.
The construction work will be carried out under full closure to motorised traffic. Following the renewal of the sewer and carriageway, the pavements will be paved with a yellow Saxon road surface, a new property enclosure will be built as a quarry stone wall and eight new lime trees will be planted on the southern pavement.
The final completion of the construction project is scheduled for the end of September 2024.
The company Hasse Transport GmbH from Radebeul has been commissioned with the construction work.
The anticipated construction costs amount to around €215,000.
