Time for an honorary post?

The large district town of Radebeul is looking for the following for the coming school year 2023/2024

for the primary school "Friedrich Schiller", Hauptstraße 10 and

for the primary school Oberlößnitz, Augustusweg 42

one volunteer school crossing patrol assistant each.

To volunteer as a school crossing patrol assistant, you must be of legal age, physically fit, reliable and punctual. You must also be able to stand outside in all weathers and always remain calm and organised, even under stress or in difficult situations.

As a school crossing patrol assistant, you will come to your place of work near the primary school in the morning before school starts and/or at lunchtime at the end of lessons for about half an hour. At traffic lights, zebra crossings or road crossings, you help the schoolchildren to cross the road. One location can also be looked after by several school crossing patrols, who divide the days or times between them. School crossing patrols are not required during school holidays.

Before your first assignment, you will receive instruction from the police and appropriate equipment from the traffic organisation. Compensation for this voluntary work is paid in accordance with the compensation regulations of the town of Radebeul.
