Colourful wonder Altkötzschenbroda
Visitors sometimes refer to it as the doll's house, while local residents call it the most beautiful village green in Radebeul. And rightly so, because Altkötzschenbroda is a lively place with many facets. Pubs and small shops interact harmoniously with the lovingly designed residential buildings. Their colourful design stands in stark contrast to the fate that was about to befall the houses. The historic village centre was left to decay, to be replaced by prefabricated buildings. Now Altkötzschenbroda shines as a small colourful wonder behind the Elbe meadows.
