About the artist:

- 1970 - 72 Make-up artist at the Dresden State Operetta
- 1977 - 82 Studied at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee, diploma in sculpture
- Since 1982 freelance sculptor and resident in Jena/Radebeul
- 1989 Co-founder of the Dresden Secession 89
- Member of the GEDOK since 1999
