Commemoration of the victims of National Socialism

On Saturday, 27 January 2024, a silent commemoration will take place at Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz at 2.00 pm.
There will also be an opportunity to lay flowers.
To mark the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of National Socialism, pupils from the Radebeul Kötzschenbroda secondary school, with the participation of the Anne Frank School in Radebeul, explored the topic of the National Socialist murder of the sick. Various aspects were considered. Who were the victims, who were the perpetrators and how did the public behave?
The question of how far the memory of that era continues to have an impact today was also explored.
Pupils will present their findings at a commemorative event on Monday, 29 January 2024, at 5 p.m. in thegym of the Kötzschenbroda secondary school.
All interested citizens of Radebeul are cordially invited to attend.
