Radebeul dances into the summer

The Radebeul Summer of Culture 2021 offers a varied programme of street theatre, concerts, exhibitions, workshops and performances from June to September. Artists enliven streets and squares, gardens and courtyards and provide unforgettable moments of cultural enjoyment.
The sporting highlight of the summer programme is TanzArt.Radebeul, which invites young people in particular to dance and jam on 31 July 2021 in front of the Radebeul Kultur-Bahnhof and at the Weißes Haus. After Meißen and Torgau, the breaking crew "THE SAXONZ" will bring their dance culture to Radebeul. As part of the "Bring It Back Jam", which runs as a tour along the Elbe - from Meißen, Torgau, Riesa, Radebeul, Dresden to Saxon Switzerland - breaking, graffiti and skate workshops will entice people to dance, spray and skate along. The professional dancers will demonstrate their acrobatic skills in exciting breaking battles and will be judged by an expert jury in the competitions.
THE SAXONZ will be accompanied by the Belgian breakdancers of the Style Invaders. Flatland BMX rider Dustyn Alt from Leipzig will perform breathtaking dance moves on his two-wheeler. With a medley of traditional and modern dance styles, the dancers from Tanzstudio MuNo will captivate the audience. DJ Kid Cut and DJ ACCESS will provide fresh beats on the turntables during the performances. The day will be rounded off musically with live performances by Dresden musician ALPHONZO, who will be giving music workshops for children in addition to his many-faceted involvement in bands, including the hardcore and thrash combo Masorati.
In addition to movement and culture, the Dresden Breaking group focuses on children's and youth work, which is emphasised and supported by the city through TanzArt.Radebeul.
