Today, Friday 23 April 2021, the fourth Civil Protection Act (amendment to the Infection Protection Act) comes into force. This has an impact on the operation of daycare centres and schools based on fixed incidence values in the respective district.

The legal requirements of the federal law prohibit the operation of daycare centres with an incidence of over 165 for three consecutive days from the day after next.

In the district of Meißen, the incidence in the last 5 days is between 180 and 196. On 22.04.2021 the value was 184.1.

From Monday, 26.04.2021, the daycare facilities (daycare, crèche, kindergarten, after-school care) in Radebeul will be closed. Emergency care will be offered. The eligibility forms already on file at the facilities remain valid provided that the information is still correct.

Are parents' fees reimbursed?

If emergency childcare is not utilised for an entire week, parents' fees will be reimbursed at a rate of 25% of the monthly fee.
