On Saturday, 11 May 2019, the Day of Urban Development will take place across Germany for the fifth time in a row. The aim is to familiarise the general public with projects that were initiated and implemented with urban development funding.
Urban development funding has been used very successfully in Radebeul-Ost since 2003. For this reason, this year's action day will be used to provide insights into the public buildings in the Radebeul-Ost redevelopment area, for example the council chamber in the historic town hall, the combined heat and power plant in the "old police station", the tourist information centre in the Hauptstraße 12 building and the district library in the Radebeul cultural train station.
The opening of the exhibition "Radebeul town halls through the ages" in the historic town hall and guided tours of the buildings are planned between 10.00 am and 1.30 pm. Childcare and refreshments will be provided.
The specific programme will be available from the end of April 2019 on the city council website - www.radebeul.de and will also be published on flyers and in the May 2019 issue of the official gazette.
