Invitation to the Open Vineyard Day 2019

The Radebeul steep slope winegrowers cordially invite their guests to the "Open Vineyard Day" on Saturday, 8 and Sunday, 9 June 2019.

1st winegrowing community Radebeul-Zitzschewig, vineyard at Talkenberger Hof

Theme: Wine enjoyment directly between the vines At the western end of the Lößnitz slopes, the winegrowers of the Radebeul-Zitzschewig winegrowing community welcome you. Easily accessible on foot, by bike or by car, you can easily reach our vineyard on the street Am Talkenberger Hof, 01640 Coswig. The Radebeul/Coswig city boundary runs almost directly through the vineyard. Enjoy the variety of our Saxon wines in a cosy, musical vineyard atmosphere, with down-to-earth live music. Our grill master will once again provide you with the best food this year. Of course, in addition to the delicious wines, you can also buy your favourite cheese platter fresh from the cheese factory at the Meissen winegrowers' cooperative's sales trolley. On both days from 12.00 noon, the winegrowers of the Radebeul-Zitzschewig winegrowers' co-operative will be happy to provide you with food and wine in a convivial atmosphere. On Saturday at 2.00 pm, the Saxon Wine Queen will open the Open Vineyard Day for all 3 winegrowing communities. A bad-weather alternative will be organised. A car park is available in front of the vineyard.

2nd winegrowing community Radebeul-Niederlößnitz, Steinrücken vineyard

Theme: Taste an old vintage In the centre of the Steinrücken, the wine tavern "Weinschank an der Finsteren Gasse" welcomes you on Saturday from 14:00 and on Sunday from 11:00. Enjoy our wines and lovingly prepared small dishes as well as grilled food with your wine while listening to cheerful music. Experience guided tours through the historic vineyard on both days. You can take part in our archive wine tasting at 4.00 pm each day. On Saturday at 9.30 pm there will be a film screening of the classic "Brust oder Keule", weather permitting of course. On Sunday at 2.30 pm you can experience "LATE SUMMER", Irish & American Folk.

3rd Radebeul-Oberlößnitz Winegrowers' Association, Goldener Wagen vineyard

In the eastern part of the Lößnitz, at the Goldener Wagen, the winegrowers of the Oberlößnitz Winegrowers' Association await you. Experience wine where it has characterised our cultural landscape for centuries. Right at the foot of the Spitzhaus steps, between the Hoflößnitz and the Spitzhaus, you can enjoy the wine of Oberlößnitz with music and small delicacies. The winegrowers of the winegrowers' association are well prepared for your visit on Saturday and Sunday from 11.00 am.
