Over 100 artists will be guests at the Elbsporthalle Radebeul-West on 3 November 2019 from 10:00 to 18:00.
At the 1st Radebeul Graphics Market, which was organised by the Radebeul group of the Pirckheimer Society under the direction of Fritz Treu and in which 24 artists participated with 842 prints, the 552 visitors bought 401 prints. This meant that almost four out of five visitors went home with a print!

Hardly any other Saxon town the size of Radebeul lives so consciously with art and its artists.
The charm of the town and the interest of its inhabitants obviously make living and working here extremely attractive for creative people. The town as well as larger and smaller companies have been exhibiting regularly for years, the graphics market is "plundered", studios are visited and vernissages are often overcrowded.
What makes Radebeul's cultural and art scene so special is the mixture of modesty and ambition of the artists living here in the interplay of literature, theatre, music and visual arts in a landscape that has already been uniquely shaped by nature, winegrowers and builders. This year, works by over 100 artists will once again be presented on an exhibition area of 900 square metres in the Elbhalle. The majority of the participating artists will be present at the graphics market and will be selling their works themselves.
They live or work in Radebeul, but also come from nearer and further afield.
Works from the estates of deceased artists are also on offer. Visitors can choose their favourites from prints, collages, drawings, watercolours, silhouettes, photographs, posters, calendars, artists' books or postcards and "take them home with confidence".

The graphics market includes discussions with the artists and a direct exchange of ideas about art and/or the world. Visitors can also experience directly
experience how a graphic is created and in the painting corner, children or adults can turn their ideas into art themselves. The visitor is thus very close to the artistic process.

The city gallery and its support association, the editors of the monthly cultural magazine "Preview and Review", the Radebeul NOTschriftenverlag publishing house and others will be providing information about their projects at their own stands. The Friends of the International Travelling Theatre Festival will be offering special editions of their travelling theatre wine. The artists' café will be organised by the Meissen painter and graphic artist Jochen
Rhode and invites you to enjoy coffee and cake. The catering is provided by the Friends of the City Gallery. Visitors will find something savoury in the sports casino above the Elbhalle.

The Elborthalle is easily accessible by bike, S-Bahn, tram, bus and car. Parking spaces are available on the neighbouring festival meadow directly on site. The entire presentation area is on one level and is easily accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
