Bilz Museum

Alongside Karl May, Friedrich Eduard Bilz was the most popular writer from Radebeul in the decades around 1900. His most successful book, "Das Neue Naturheilverfahren" (The New Natural Cure), reached a circulation of several million copies. The two friends Bilz and May shared not only the same year of birth and social background, but also enlightenment ideas and pacifist views. The exhibition presents the rich work of the naturopath Bilz and provides insights into the natural health sanatorium and the Bilz spa, which helped to shape today's Radebeul districts of Oberlößnitz and Kötzschenbroda at that time and made them famous far beyond the borders of Saxony.

The museum was reopened in June 2023 after six months of refurbishment.
