Stars over the winter forest

Event for primary schools

An astronomical winter fairy tale

Our winter fairy tale tells the story of the girl Maika who, together with Finn, an Inuit boy, gets to know the sparkling winter starry sky above the snow-covered forest. Maika's dreams lead her to the far north, to Finn's homeland. There she meets polar bears, Nils the bowhead whale, sees icebergs
icebergs and impressive glaciers. How does snow form? Why are there seasons? What is the secret of the colourful Northern Lights?

Comprehensible answers are given to these and other exciting astronomical and scientific questions.
